Why I want to have a mentor...I really don't know. Click here to see all profiles. Mentors and Proteges > Description of ProgramYouth Horizons’ mentoring program helps youth grow to be confident, hopeful citizens. We match children from age 5 to 14 (at startup) with a positive Christian role model. Mentors are committed to spending two to three hours a week with a child for at least one year. Our mentoring program offers kids fun time with a caring adult and includes life-skill building (sports, acting, money management, etc.) and spiritual development (Bible study, prayer, church).
