Letter from the PresidentWinter 2008 -The Bible says, “In everything give thanks; pray without ceasing, and rejoice evermore.” (I Thessalonians 5:16-18) I know there were things in 2007 for which you and I don’t feel grateful, but again the Bible says, “All things work together for the good of them who love God and are called according to His purpose,” (Romans 8:28) so we thank Him because He is too wise to make a mistake and too kind to do anything wrong. The year 2008 has tremendous potential for good or evil. What are you prepared to do to make a positive influence on our community, city, state, or even these United States? To do nothing adds to to the possibility of evil. Any act of kindness, however small, will make the world a better place. Please go out this year and purpose in your heart to do something that will last for all of time and eternity in a positive way.
